Civic Engagement

Young Invincibles amplifies the voices of young adults by expanding opportunities to participate in the political process, to advocate for the issues they care about, and to exercise their right to vote.

Recognizing the importance of getting young adults more engaged in our democratic processes, Young Invincibles leads the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition (SLSV) – a group of over 90 non-partisan national, state, local, and student organizations dedicated to finding and scaling data-driven approaches to improving democratic engagement among college students. With 20.2 million college students in the United States, institutions of higher education have a responsibility to help their students overcome the institutional and psychological obstacles that new voters often face. The SLSV Coalition provides a measurable and manageable guide for institutions to make democratic engagement central to the student experience.

Young Invincibles is a member of the Bridge Alliance, a diverse coalition of organizations committed to working together in creative and new ways to improve and revitalize democratic practice in the United States. Learn more at the Bridge Alliance website
