Join us at our 7th annual State of Young California, a transformative gathering for California’s young adults. This year’s theme is: From What’s Wrong to What’s Next: Taking Back Our Power. Inspired by real-life divisive decisions around higher education, bodily autonomy, affirmative action, student debt, the cost of housing and other issues affecting young Californians – this virtual summit gathers young people to reflect on the challenges, brainstorm ways to take action, build resilience – with an ultimate goal to reclaim our power. Together, we’ll turn “What’s Wrong” into “What’s Next,” and collectively work to build a better California.
The 2023 #StateofYoungCA, “From What’s Wrong to What’s Next: Taking Back Our Power” will be kicked off by a special keynote from a top official who works at the state level and will feature workshops on student debt, health care + medical debt, access to mental health, and a panel with young adults who are taking action and leading in various advocacy campaigns.
