The California offices will continue Young Invincibles’ cutting-edge work through policy research and analysis, sharing the stories of young Americans, designing campaigns to educate, informing and mobilizing our generation, and advocating to change the status quo. The work of the offices will focus on both federal and statewide initiatives for all Young Invincibles’ programs in California, including health care, higher education, and youth employment.
One of the first projects will be a major health care education campaign in the Los Angeles community targeting underserved youth populations, and creating a coalition of community health centers, youth service organizations, high schools and community colleges. The project will also involve the development of a health care mobile application to educate young adults about their health care options.
The office will also be responsible for building out all Young Invincibles operations on the West Coast. Please contact the office for inquires about staff and internship opportunities, media requests, and organizing and coalition building opportunities.
