1

Young people know that there is more at stake in this year’s election than in most. We also know young people want to show up and vote but sometimes it can be overwhelming, or we can feel like our voice doesn’t really matter. YI is here over the next 28 days to ensure you feel properly prepared to vote. And luckily, Colorado’s election system makes voting easy because of its modern and secure processes. We’re here to help you make a plan to vote.

How do I register to vote?

In Colorado, we have same day registration which allows you to register to vote or update your registration at a Voter Service and Polling Center until polls close on Election Day at 7 p.m, but we encourage you to register TODAY.

  • If you have a valid Social Security Number (SSN), Colorado Driver’s License, or Colorado ID card, you can register to vote online here
  • If not, you need to complete the paper registration form (PDF) here and return the form to your county clerk and recorder via mail, delivery, or a scanned signed version through email.
