Illinois

Where young people turn bold ideas into lasting impact across Illinois.
Since opening its doors in 2013, Young Invincibles’ Illinois office has been a hub for youth-led change across Illinois. Based in Chicago, we’ve trained more than 160 young adults and reached thousands more through our civic engagement and advocacy programs. Our team has helped pass and fund the Mental Health Early Action on Campus Act, expand tax credits for young parents, and secure state investments in higher education affordability.
We’ve mobilized hundreds of young people to Springfield to meet with lawmakers, released original research on student basic needs, and led coalitions pushing for equitable funding in public universities. Every campaign is grounded in what we hear directly from young adults, and every win reflects their leadership, determination, and vision for a better future in Illinois.
