Where we Work

New York

From the buzz of NYC to the steps of our Capitol in Albany, we're speaking truth to power. Our New York office sits on Broadway in downtown Manhattan, where culture, resistance, and policy collide. We organize young adults to transform systems and drive change across the Empire State.

In the shadow of Wall Street, young adults are building a new economy.

Young Invincibles New York works to redesign systems to meet the needs of young adults, ages 18 to 34, across the state. Since 2015, we’ve organized students and young workers to win meaningful change in higher education, health care, and workforce access. We co-founded the CUNY Rising Alliance, founded and lead the New York Postsecondary Basic Needs Coalition, and serve on the steering committee for HCFANY and #Coverage4All. Our research and advocacy helped pass Universal FAFSA in 2024, expanding college access for first-generation and low-income students statewide. YI New York published groundbreaking reports on medical debt among young adults, homelessness across the CUNY system, and key insights on the value of work-based learning.

Whether fighting for affordable health care for undocumented young people or securing funding for campus basic needs, we center the lived experiences of young New Yorkers. Every campaign, report, and policy push reflects the leadership of young people and the determination to create a more just and responsive state.
