Even before COVID-19, the City University of New York had a homelessness crisis, with nearly 15 percent of students experiencing homelessness in a given year. On Thursday, January 14, our New York team testified before the New York City Council to discuss how the pandemic has left more CUNY students facing homelessness and hunger.
