When: April 3rd, 2025, 10am – 3pm
Where: Texas State Capitol, Austin, TX
Contact: Travis Evans (Travis.Evans@younginvincibles.org)
On April 3rd, Young Invincibles is bringing young leaders together for Texas Advocacy Day: Advocacy is Bigger in Texas– a day of action dedicated to building power and pushing for policies that make a difference. Young people across Texas will join forces to champion issues that shape their futures, demonstrating the power of young adult voices. This event is more than a moment–it’s a movement to drive meaningful action, that ensures the well-being and success of young Texans beyond elections and into meaningful action.
Put on by young advocates for young advocates, YI Texas Advocacy Day is designed to empower attendees through training, engagement, and direct action. Before arriving at the Capitol, participants will receive training to ensure they feel prepared to meet with legislators, share their stories, and advocate for policy changes. Throughout the day, attendees will rally with their peers, engage in key discussions, and participate in legislative meetings to push for much-needed reforms.
By the end of the day, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the issues impacting young people in Texas and how to stay involved in advocacy efforts. If you want to use your voice to help shape the future, join us at the Texas Capitol and be part of this movement.
