While many hold certain beliefs about apprenticeships, they often lack a comprehensive understanding of their true potential and impact, hindering young adults from seriously considering these programs. Narrative change in the apprenticeship landscape is crucial because current language and perceptions surrounding these opportunities often limit the accessibility of their benefits. Considering workforce demands, skills gaps, and changing views on higher education, apprenticeships should be at the forefront of career and workforce development discussions.

It also illuminated how these pathways can be pivotal tools in helping historically underrepresented groups enter sustainable career pathways and gave Texas Workforce Commission Apprenticeship Training Program.
