[Washington, DC] – Today, the U.S. Census Bureau released new numbers showing
that the Affordable Care Act is working for young Americans. According to the report,
the percentage of 18 to 24 year-olds with insurance has increased from 70.7% to
72.8%. That translates to 500,000 more young adults who have health insurance; a vital
stat for a population that goes without coverage more often than any other.
