Young adults and their families are clearly taking advantage of the dependent coverage provision in the Affordable Care Act.  Wellpoint, the larges insurer in the country, released numbers showing that 280,000 young adults enrolled in the first quarter of the year due to the new up to 26 provision.  And those numbers reflect just one insurer.  We’ll keep you updated as more numbers becomes available from different insurers, and as graduation season rolls around and even more graduating students go back on their parent’s plan.
