Priscila Uriegas Barrientos
Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? I joined Young Invincibles to represent my fellow youth and the issues that go against them, specifically those concerning higher education.

Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? I joined Young Invincibles because I wanted to learn more about health care, the different types of health care, and especially getting young people to get health insurance. YI is a great organization I am glad to be part of the movement of helping young people like myself.

Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? A passion for justice has led me to become a Young Advocate. The time for income inequality, health insurance as a privilege instead of a right, and education for some has come to an end. I have the knowledge, passion, and vision to demand these systemic changes. I hope to achieve guidance through the YAP, organizing, educating, and proposing solutions to drive change.

Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? I am passionate about becoming a young advocate because it now afforded the opportunity to be apart of a movement where I can share my story and empower other young adults to become civically engaged and make a difference in their communities.

Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? I joined Young Invincibles because it provides me with the platform to learn about the issues which young people face and work towards a common goal to achieve success at the highest level.

Why did you join the Young Advocates Program? I joined the YAP with the purpose of developing my advocacy and organizing skills as well as learning about national policies with a group of diverse young professionals. As a young advocate, I hope to deepen my understanding of the obstacles many young adults face in the forms of economic instability, health care reform, and substantial educational debt.

I joined Young Invincibles as a young advocate, to become a voice for the youth and increase representation and deepen my understanding of the many obstacles many young adults face and aims to pursue political issues relating to law, civic engagement, workforce, health care policy, and higher education.
