Texas Capitol
Attention young adults of Texas! The future is in our hands. Join Young Invincibles and more than 150 passionate advocates for our Advocacy Day at the Texas Capitol on March 31st, 2023 from 10 AM – 3 PM! Let’s rally for accessible higher education, increased workforce opportunities, equitable health care access, and civic engagement.
Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or new to the game, this is your chance to make your voice heard and fight for the issues that matter most to our generation.
We’ll be bold as we advocate for:
- Accessibility of comprehensive, affordable health coverage
- Expansion apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities
- Improvement of campus voting options
- Increase support for parenting students
- Protection for students as they navigating existing loan debt
Young Invincibles will cover:
- Round Trip transportation for those outside of Austin
- Breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day
- ASL and Spanish Translators will be available upon request
