[Washington D.C.] – Today, after eight years of investment building Young Invincibles (YI) from a student-led startup into an established, national organization, YI announced the resignation of co-founder and executive director, Jen Mishory.

“When we started Young Invincibles, we wanted to create a vehicle for giving young Americans a real voice in the decisions impacting their lives and future, said Ari Matusiak, co-founder and Board chair. “The work of Young Invincibles has never been more critical than it is today. When Jen decided that it was time to transition, the Board launched a nationwide search for YI’s next executive director. We are excited to announce that selection in the coming weeks.”

“Young Invincibles has grown from a group of students in a cafeteria to a national organization, running impactful campaigns that help millions of young people become more financially secure,” Mishory said. “It has been a true privilege to lead this organization and to work with so many young people in communities across the country to lift up the voices of my generation. As with any founder-led organization, it comes time for its next director to take the reins, and I look forward to seeing YI grow under new leadership.”
