On March 10, 2016 at 5 p.m., Young Invincibles will join students, faculty, faith and community leaders as part of the CUNY Rising Alliance for a rally and town hall meeting to protect state investment in the City University of New York (CUNY). This year, Governor Cuomo has released plans to increase tuition for five additional years and slash state funding to CUNY by $485 million, cutting off critical access to college for low-income and minority students despite a $1 billion state budget surplus.
